Florida Residency Requirement
Players and their parents are required to be permanent residents of Florida in order to be eligible for this level tournament. Paperwork (as per the link) proving the parents and player are permanent residents must be RECEIVED in the USTA Florida office and APPROVED three weeks from the start date of the Level 3, 4, or 5 tournament, Players wishing to check their approval can check the Tentative Ranking list published approximately 16 days before the start of the tournament or check with the USTA Florida office: brown@ustaflorida.com.

Player Selection
The draw will be a maximum of a 16 team draw based on the
combined ranking of the players on the USTA Florida Tentative Ranking
List. The Team will consist of a #1
position and #2 position and the positions will be based on the player’s UTR rating. Seeding of the teams will also be based on. UTR ratings for this event.

Team Format of Play
Each team match consists of a #1 singles match, #2 singles
match, and a doubles match. The team that wins 2 out of the 3 matches wins the
team match. After each team match, the teams move to a different part of the
draw depending on the team result. Please note, players earn points based on
individual wins and not team wins. Even if a team does not advance in the draw,
players receive credit for any individual matches won. Each team will be
guaranteed 2 team matches, unless the draw is not full for reasons such as
teams withdrawing due to injury, illness or personal circumstance.

Format of Play
Doubles is one set to 6 no ad.Singles is Two out of 3 sets, first to 4, no ad, with a 7pt tiebreak at 3-3 in all sets.

Points Awarded
The #1 singles player will receive 100 points per win. The
#2 singles player will receive 85 points per win. Doubles will receive 25% of
90 points per win.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to specified residents only. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, March 24, 2019 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
