tournament, have fun, and meet some new friends.

The "Road to the Little Mo Nationals" is the only yearlong circuit
of its kind for talented, high performance boys and girls (ages
8-12) who reside in the USA and USA Territories. The Road is
designed to provide good competition at the sectional, regional,
and national level while also encouraging players to develop new
friendships, learn good sportsmanship, and most of all, have fun.
The "Little Mo" is also unique in that it gives youngsters the
opportunity to gauge their ability against players who share the
same birth year (i.e., 8's play 8's, 9's play 9's, et cetera). Many
famous tennis professionals have participated in the "Little Mo"
program over the years including Andy Roddick, Ryan Harrison, Vasek
Pospisil, Madison Keys, Donald Young, Denis Kudla, CiCi Bellis,
Taylor Fritz, and Ana Konjuh.
The circuit begins each spring with 18 different sectionals held
across the country, which advance to four regionals held in the
summer, and culminates with the prestigious "Little Mo" Nationals
held in the fall. The top eight players (quarterfinalists) from
each age division at each sectional advance to the four "Little Mo"
Regionals. The top four players (semifinalists) from each age
division at each regional advance to the "Little Mo" Nationals held
at the Austin Tennis Academy in Austin, Texas from September 28 -
October 1. The top 160 players who advance to the "Little Mo"
Nationals are the youngest and brightest future stars in American
tennis.

The "Little Mo" tournaments are hosted by the Maureen Connolly
Brinker Tennis Foundation (MCB) in memory of its tennis champion
namesake Maureen "Little Mo" Connolly. Known by her nickname
"Little Mo", she was the first woman to win the Grand Slam in 1953
- winning all four major tournaments (Australian Open, French Open,
Wimbledon, and U.S. Open) in the same year. She is still the only
American woman and the youngest at age 18 to have accomplished this
magnificent feat. MCB has promoted junior tennis development for
over 49 years and continues to benefit countless numbers of boys
and girls throughout the United States and worldwide. This year,
the Foundation will be celebrating its 50th Anniversary and we are
so happy to celebrate this special occasion with you.
We thank you for your support of the "Little Mo" and a special
thank you to our proud sponsors: Tennis Competitors of Dallas
(TCD), K-Swiss (Official Footwear), Wilson Sporting Goods (Official
Racquet and Ball), and My Game Solutions (Official Player Matching
and Court Booking App). Last year, approximately 3,000 youngsters
competed in the "Little Mo" and we hope to see even more youngsters
play this wonderful "sport of a lifetime" this year. Thanks so much
for helping us spread the word to all of your friends about our
tournaments. Play "Mo" Tennis!
